A Burning Flame
A flame so dim,
A life so slim,
Mine is the life of a bystander,
A simple watcher of the world.
The world around me moves,
I am standing still.
I am a torch,
About to fade away.
My existence has no meaning.
In a world full of people,
I walk alone,
By myself,
I am never acknowledged.
If I cry,
would you dry my tears?
If I die,
Would you notice,
Me?
I am the torch,
That is about to fade away.
I am a dove,
Living in a flock of crows,
And now I know,
All I need,
Is love.
