Wishmaster- Chapter 3Chapter 3- Back to Good Ol' Reality
I had woken up in a cold sweat, confused about how I had gotten here. I remember disappearing from my desk, but that was all. My eyes adjusted slowly to the lack of light. I looked around the room and put a hand to my forehead. It felt like someone had chiseled my head open. I couldn't remember as hard as I tried. It was all blurry. It was almost silent in the room, except for the sound of another person's breath. It startled me for a moment, as I had believed to be alone.
The person beside me yawned and I realized it was a woman when she spoke. "What's wrong? Aren't you going back to sleep?"
I shook my head to myself. I had known this girl for a while. It wasn't as if I loved her or anything, but she kept me from feeling lonely. If it wasn't for this girl, I would have gone insane long ago. Though, I felt as though it would be better off if we were just friends, but that wasn't what she wanted. I guess I really couldn't complain, but it felt wrong.
Wishmaster- Chapter 2Chapter 2- Dream among Dreamers
In this world, I had no form and I merely floated to where I wanted to walk. I usually imagined giving myself a form, and it often work. Though, it was a wasted effort to try and be a part of a world I did not belong in. You truly do not exist if you are not observed and acknowledged by others. Then does this girl that I see in front of me exist if I do not? To me, she does, because I am acknowledging her presence.
"Standing" in the grassy field a few steps away from her home, I ask myself, "What was it that she could've wished for?" I couldn't figure out how she could be so content with this solitude. Why would anyone want a life such as this? Why would anyone go so far as to WISH for it?
She seemed to stare at me through her window, with her perfect blue eyes gazing into mine. I squinted and looked closer only to realize that she hadn't put her focus on me. I wanted to ask for her name, but before I could move my lips, my brain told me that it was futi
Wishmaster- Chapter 1Wishmaster
Chapter 1- Close Encounters With the Invisible.
It had no form, no body, and it certainly did not possess a voice. It was made up only of a simple consciousness, and an extraordinary ability. It was a real fairytale. Many people have encountered this formless being, enough so to call it the "Wishmaster." In the reality that is now, these meetings never even took place.
It is not a god, nor is it a devil. The Wishmaster possesses no memories or personality, therefore the possibility of being merciful or malevolent does not exist. In truth, I believe it to be a being with an infinite consciousness, and therefore it is perfect. Though the Wishmaster has obtained perfection, it is not something to be worshipped or enshrined. The Wishmaster merely grants a new world to those who dream of it.
In the world of humans, Wishmaster can take many forms, whether it is in a newspaper article, weapon, website, film, or person, those who call for it will find it. There are no real rumors ab
Bo.When Lindsay was born, Bo was there. Standing beside her mother, he was the first thing she ever saw. But he was not her father; her father stood on the other side.
Bo was there until the very moment she died.
The sun shone bright through the windows of her pink-laden room. She loved pink. And black.
“Because Bo is black,” she’d told her parents.
Her imaginary friend, they soon concluded.
“Bo is all black,” she described one night as her father tucked her in, “His skin and his hair and everything. He doesn’t talk a lot.”
Her father frowned.
“He sounds scary.”
“He’s not,” she insisted.
Bo sat on the bed and said nothing.
Her father kissed her good night and turned out the light.
“Why can’t Dad see you?” she asked.
“Are you real?”
“Are you real?” he replied.
“How do you know?”
